My Story

Finding Joy in Life's Beautiful Chaos

Hey there, intrepid explorers!

I’m Chadwick Lukasiewicz, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor from Colorado specializing in trauma, recovery, and neurodiversity. Late-diagnosed with ADHD at 27 and Autism at 30, and undergoing a spine fusion at 25, I’ve turned these late-life plot twists into a global mission: to empower neurodivergent adventurers like you to embrace the beautiful chaos and uniqueness of your mind.

Whether you’re navigating through everyday chaos or setting out to conquer new frontiers, I’m here to help you turn challenges into discoveries and milestones on your journey to thriving.

Ready to revolutionize your experience of the world?

From Plot Twists to Purpose

Armed with a backpack full of clinical expertise, hard-won personal strategies, and a camera to capture the extraordinary details and breathtaking moments others might miss, I’ve embarked on a journey of neurodivergent selfdiscovery

From navigating the sensory tsunami of Tokyo’s Shibuya Crossing to finding unexpected calm in Bali’s lush rice terraces, I’ve field-tested (and often hilariously failed at) countless approaches to not just surviving, but truly thriving as a neurodivergent traveler.

Each adventure has been a masterclass in embracing the unique lens through which we view the world. I’ve turned sensory overload into breathtaking photographs, transformed meltdowns into memorable encounters with locals, and discovered that our so-called “quirks” often become our greatest strengths on the road.

Through trial, error, and a healthy dose of humor, I’ve crafted a toolkit for turning the challenges of neurodivergent travel into opportunities for growth and joy.

And let me tell you, it’s been one heck of a ride! These experiences have not only changed how I travel but have revolutionized my approach to daily life and clinical practice.

Now, I’m here to share these insights with you, helping you navigate both the bustling cities of your mind and the wide, wonderful world out there.

Neurodiverse Wisdom & Mindful Adventure Therapy

My philosophy?

It’s what I call “mindful adventure therapy” – a unique blend of clinical insight, wanderlust, and neurodiverse wisdom. I firmly believe that pushing our boundaries through exploration not only heals but also taps into the deeper wisdom of our neurodivergent minds.

Whether it’s finding flow while carving fresh powder in the Swiss Alps or unlocking our sensory superpowers in the lush forests of Costa Rica, every journey becomes a catalyst for turning our neurodivergent traits into extraordinary strengths.

Embracing unexpected detours, we transform sensory overwhelm into awe-inspiring moments of clarity, connection, and wisdom. It’s about discovering the powerful insights our minds hold when faced with the world’s beauty and chaos.

  • Autism and ADHD-friendly travel hacks that turn potential meltdowns into memorable moments (Like the time I missed boarding by 5 minutes but ended up on an unexpected adventure in Vietnam!)
  • Insights on using travel as a tool for personal growth and healing (Remember when I found freedom from burnout during a soul-searching trip through Southeast Asia? That month in Bali changed everything!)
  • Trauma-informed strategies for conquering travel anxiety and sensory overload (Because let’s face it, sometimes our brains feel like they’re throwing a rave when we just want to relax on the beach)
  • Stunning travel photography that captures the world through our unique neurodivergent lens (Hyperfocus has its perks when you’re chasing the perfect sunset shot!)
  • Budget-friendly tips that make transformative travel accessible to all (Who says you need a trust fund to find yourself in the Swiss Alps?)
  • Mindfulness practices tailored for the neurodiverse explorer’s mind (Yes, even your ADHD brain can find zen – I promise!)

ReWriting the Neurodivergent Narrative

But here’s the real heart of our mission: we’re not just traveling the world; we’re rewriting the narrative on neurodiversity.

Together, we’ll prove that our differently-wired brains aren’t just capable of navigating this beautiful, chaotic world – they’re designed to embrace it, celebrate it, and find joy in every unexpected detour.

Whether you’re a seasoned traveler looking to better manage your neurodivergent traits on the road, a newbie adventurer nervous about taking that first big trip, or simply someone seeking to understand their own mind better, you’ve found your community.

A towering golden statue of Lord Murugan stands in front of the Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Behind the statue, a long, vibrant staircase painted in a rainbow of colors leads up to the cave entrance, with visitors climbing the steps. The surrounding cliffs are covered in lush greenery, creating a dramatic natural backdrop. The sky is partly cloudy, with sunlight illuminating the scene.

So, are you ready to transform your wanderlust into life-transforming experiences?  To turn your ADHD impulsivity into spontaneous adventures?  To use your autistic attention to detail to uncover hidden gems others might miss?

Let’s embark on this wild, wonderful journey together!
